AB Staffing Solutions is seeking two experienced Physicians/Medical Directors for locum tenens assignments in La Belle and Frackville, Pennsylvania. These weekday, 8-hour day shift positions offer consistent scheduling, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in correctional healthcare.

Position Details
Openings: 1 at La Belle, PA | 1 at Frackville, PA
Contract Length: 13 weeks (extensions highly likely)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8-hour day shifts | No call
Setting: Correctional facility / adult patient population

Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care and document encounters per facility and regulatory standards
Supervise and support nursing and ancillary staff; ensure adherence to clinical protocols
Oversee chronic care clinics, utilization review, and quality improvement initiatives
Collaborate with facility administration to optimize patient outcomes
Serve as a consultant on complex medical cases and specialty referrals

Requirements
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certification/Eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Public Health preferred
Active Pennsylvania medical license and DEA required
Current CPR certification; must maintain CME and clinical privileges throughout assignment
