Job description
Position: Interventional Radiologist
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts (onsite only)
Commitment: One week per month
Assignment Length: Ongoing
Reason for Need: Faculty departure and increased procedural volume
Role Overview:
Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist to provide consistent monthly coverage. This role involves a broad mix of vascular and non-vascular procedures, along with special studies. Remote work is not available for this position.
Procedures & Modalities-
CT-Guided:
CT angiography
Biopsies
Aspirations and drainages
Vascular & Interventional Radiology:
Thrombolytic therapy (venous & arterial)
Stenting, angioplasty, angiography
Vascular access device placement
IVC filter placement
TIPS procedures
Non-Vascular:
Percutaneous biopsies and aspirations
Extractions
Special Procedures:
Abscess drainage
Hysterosalpingogram
Thoracentesis and paracentesis
Myelography
Vertebroplasty
Epidural blood patch
Requirements:
Board certification required
Active state medical license (willing to license if candidate holds an IMLC)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
DEA and CSR as applicable
Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days
This is a hands-on onsite role ideal for an interventional radiologist who enjoys procedural variety and can adapt to a busy hospital-based environment.
