Position Details

Coverage Type: Full-time with call (every other weeknight, every third weekend)

Case Volume: ~300 annual cases split between two surgeons

Support Staff: APPs and nursing team

EMR: Cerner

Skills Required: Full range of adult cardiac surgical and structural heart services, including minimally invasive mitral/aortic procedures, CABG, arrhythmia surgeries, and catheter-based interventions.

Requirements

Board Certification: Required (Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgery)

License: Active Maryland medical license (no licensing assistance)

DEA/CSR: Required

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Experience: Minimum 5 years preferred

Credentialing Timeframe: TBD
