Locums Onsite Body Imaging Radiologist - Will license!

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Radiologist to provide locum services for a high-volume imaging practice. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking consistent weekday coverage in an acute care hospital setting. Coverage is needed beginning January 2026 for an ongoing contract with potential for an ongoing placement.

🏥 Job Details:

Setting: Acute care hospital

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (standard 8-hour shifts)

Coverage: Scheduled shifts only; no call required

Shift Commitment: Full-time weekday coverage

Patient Volume: 20–30 cases/day on CT schedule; 60–80 cases/day on plain film/ultrasound schedule

Patient Population: Adults

Modalities: X-rays, ultrasounds, CTs, fluoroscopy; PET/CT available onsite

Focus Areas: Abdominal and pelvic imaging, chest CT, plain film X-ray

Procedures: No drain placements or biopsies expected

Systems: EMR: Epic; PACS: Sectra; Dictation: Powerscribe

📋 Requirements:

Board Certification: Required in Radiology

License: Active state license or willingness to obtain

Certifications: DEA and other applicable credentials

Experience: Must be comfortable with abdominal/pelvic imaging, chest CT, and plain film X-ray

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60–90 days; temporary privileges available
