Aya Locums is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery NP to support an outpatient surgery practice in southern California. This is a steady weekday schedule with no nights, weekends, or inpatient responsibilities, ideal for an NP with surgical or cardiac experience.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• Contract Length: 3 months, ongoing
• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
• Hours: 7a–5p
• Coverage: Full-time, 4x10s

Work Details
• Setting: Outpatient clinic / private practice
• Team: 3 surgeons, 2 front office staff, 1 surgery scheduler, 2 MAs
• Weekly Volume: ~35–40 patients
• Role Focus:
– Pre- and post-op patient care
– Wound care, suturing
– 60% administrative, 40% clinical
• Procedures: Sutures and basic wound care (no invasive or surgical procedures in clinic)
• Patient Population: All ages
• EMR: Epic

Requirements
• Board Certification: Required
• License: Active CA NP license
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: BLS
• Experience: Minimum 2 years; cardiothoracic or surgical background strongly preferred
