REMOTE Locums - Body Imaging Radiologist - AZ license

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Radiologist to provide remote locum services for a high-volume imaging practice. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking flexible scheduling, remote work, and consistent weekday and weekend coverage. Coverage is needed beginning January 2026 for a 26-week contract with potential for ongoing placement.

🏥 Job Details
Setting: Remote teleradiology supporting emergency department coverage

Schedule: 8-hour shifts (3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. MST or 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. MST); 10–12 hour shifts may be considered

Coverage: Scheduled shifts only; no call required

Shift Commitment: Minimum of 14 shifts/month; weekend coverage required (Friday–Sunday strongly preferred)

Support Services: Dedicated IT team for workstation setup; AI-assisted PACS integration launching soon

Patient Volume: 35–40 cases per shift, averaging 55–65 wRVUs; must be able to read a minimum of 10 RVUs/hour

Patient Population: Adults

Modalities: All modalities except mammograms; highly desired skills include prostate MRI, PET/CT, and nuclear medicine interpretation

Systems: Konica Minolta EXA PACS with Fluency Direct dictation

📋 Requirements
Board Certification: Required in Radiology

License: Active Arizona license required; IMLC eligibility considered

Certifications: BLS required; DEA preferred

Experience: No minimum experience required; new grads welcome; tele-mammo experience preferred

Workstation: Must have own workstation

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60–90 days; temporary privileges available to expedite start

Additional Notes: Interview process includes name clear and phone screen; 3 references required
