REMOTE Locums - Diagnostic Radiologist - PA license - Willing to license

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Radiologist to provide remote locum services for a high-volume imaging practice. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking flexible scheduling, remote work, and consistent weekday coverage. Coverage is needed beginning January 2026 for an ongoing contract with potential for long-term placement.

🏥 Job Details
Setting: Remote teleradiology supporting emergency department coverage

Schedule: 8-hour shifts; weekday coverage options include 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., or 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.

Coverage: Scheduled shifts only; no call required

Shift Commitment: Full-time coverage preferred

Support Services: PACS and dictation systems provided; credentialing requires coverage at a minimum of two facilities

Patient Volume: Must read at least 70+ wRVUs per shift; productivity monitored with performance expectations

Patient Population: Adults

Modalities: XR, CT, MR, US, NM, Fluoroscopy, ER, MSK, Neuro, mammography screens, diagnostic mammography procedures, and light IR procedures

Systems: Meditech EMR, Merge PACS, Fluency dictation

📋 Requirements
Board Certification: Required in Radiology

License: Active state license required; willingness to license considered

Certifications: DEA preferred

Experience: Must be able to read all modalities listed, including Neuro, MSK, NucMed, and light IR procedures

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30–60 days; temporary privileges may be available

Additional Notes: Candidates must meet productivity standards (70+ wRVUs per shift); failure to meet expectations may result in contract review. Interview process includes name clear with NPI, CV review, and completed modality checklist.
