Coverage Type: Scheduled Shifts (Potential Call)

Assignment Details

12-hour shifts: 6 a.m.–6 p.m. or 6 p.m.–6 a.m.

15-hour night shifts: 4 p.m.–7 a.m. with overlap for sign-out

Schedule Options:

3×12-hour shifts

2×24-hour shifts

Call: Potential

Weekends: Included; scheduling priority given after full-time staff. Additional weekends available if desired.

Work Details

Practice Setting: Inpatient – NICU

Patient Population: Inborn and outborn neonatal cases

Minimum Experience: Prior neonatal experience required

EMR: Epic (highly preferred)

Team Structure

Day Shift: 9 NNPs

Night Shift: Building up to 23 NNPs

Requirements

License: Active, unencumbered Wisconsin NP license

Certifications: AHA BLS, NRP

Experience: Neonatal experience required; must be comfortable with both inborn and outborn cases
