A major health system in the Twin Cities is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon for ongoing locums coverage. This role offers a steady schedule, diverse surgical mix, and the chance to support a high-performing surgical team within a collaborative environment.

Start: ASAP - January Ideal
Location: Twin Cities, Minnesota
License: Active MN license or IMLC required
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7a–5p
Call: 1:3 call rotation
• Call week includes day call, overnight call (5p–7a), and 24-hour weekend call


Case Mix Includes (Predominantly Routine)

CABGs

Valve repair & replacement

Aortic aneurysms & dissections

Atrial fibrillation surgery

Carotid endarterectomy

Congenital heart surgery

Coronary artery bypass surgery

Esophageal (including minimally invasive)

Heart failure surgery

Heart transplant

LVAD procedures

Lung surgery

Minimally invasive & robotic heart surgery

Thoracoscopic surgery

• Predominately Routine Cases - CAVs, Valves etc.
