Location: Roanoke, VA (ZIP 24011) – Hybrid (Remote + On-Site)
Employment Type: Contract
Compensation: $165.00/hr

✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Perform routine and annual QA for Varian EDGE and Siemens Somatom systems following TG-142 and TG-51
✔️ Support regulatory compliance with state inspections and documentation
✔️ Provide physics support for ~150 veterinary oncology cases annually
✔️ Review treatment plans, conduct chart checks, and offer remote + on-site technical support
✔️ Assist with new procedures, troubleshooting, and dosimetry guidance

✅ Qualifications
✔️ Master’s or PhD in Medical Physics, Health Physics, or related field
✔️ Experience with linear accelerators—preferably Varian EDGE
✔️ Strong knowledge of AAPM QA standards TG-142 and TG-51
✔️ Radiation oncology experience (veterinary or human)
✔️ Ability to perform both remote and on-site responsibilities
✔️ Preferred: ABR/ABMP board certification, radiosurgery/SRS/SBRT experience, regulatory inspection support
