Schedule & Coverage

Start Date: 1/12/2026

Contract Length: 3 months

Shift Options:

4×10s: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM

3×12s: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Schedule: Monday–Sunday (night shift, full-time)

Work Details

Practice Setting: Inpatient Hospital – Heart Failure Service

Support Staff: RNs, techs, admin staff, heart failure physicians

Coverage Needed: Full-time

Patient Volume: ~15 patients per shift

Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric

Department Description:

Heart failure inpatient management

Post-transplant patients

Patients awaiting transplant

High-dose inotropes

High readmission cardiac population

Floor only; no ICU

Special Procedures: None

EMR: EPIC

Hospital Size: 824 beds

Requirements

Board Certification: NP or PA (any of: Adult, Acute Care, Cardiac, etc.) with transplant or immunosuppression experience

State License: Active IL license required

DEA: Required

CSR: Required

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred; transplant (any type) or immunosuppression experience required

Credentialing

Timeframe: 60–90 days
