Cardiothoracic/vascular surgeon needed in Idaho - 24 hour call only!

Schedule: Ongoing | 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
Coverage Type: Daily rounding on all inpatients + 24/7 CVT call coverage

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Provider to join our team and provide continuous 24-hour coverage. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing a full range of adult cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases and comfortable performing high-acuity procedures.

Work Details & Support:

Support Staff:

Surgical team including a first assistant (NP/PA), two surgical techs, one RN circulator, and anesthesiologist

ICU nursing staff

Step-down nursing staff (4th floor)

Trauma Level: Level II

EMR: Meditech

Facility Size: 318 beds

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in open-heart procedures

Ability to perform CABG and manage aortic dissections

Competency in all adult cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases

Strong communication and teamwork skills
