Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Surgeon to provide ongoing locum tenens coverage. This role includes 24-hour call responsibilities and inpatient-based care. The ideal candidate is dependable, skilled in a range of CV surgical procedures, and comfortable in a high-acuity environment.

Work Details

Setting: Inpatient

Support Staff: Registered Nurses and office staff

Trauma Level: To be provided by facility

Responsibilities

Provide continuous 24-hour call coverage

Manage inpatient CV cases

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care

Perform emergent and non-emergent cardiovascular procedures as needed

Requirements

Board-certified/board-eligible in Cardiovascular Surgery

Active and unrestricted medical license (or ability to obtain)

ACLS/BLS as required by facility

Prior experience with call coverage preferred
