Job description

We’re supporting a Cardiothoracic Surgery role with a respected health system in Anchorage. This position blends scheduled daily clinical/OR responsibilities with 24-hour call coverage. The surgeon will manage adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, supported by a reliable MA/office team and an Epic EMR environment.

Work Environment & Schedule:
• Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
• Schedule: 4 hours per day of clinical/hospital/OR time
• Call: 24-hour call shifts with callbacks as needed
• Patient Volume: ~4 patients per shift
• EMR: Epic
• Support Staff: MAs and office personnel

Requirements:
• Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Active Alaska medical license
• Prior experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery (trained, experienced, and fully credentialed)

Compensation:
• Daily rate with additional hourly call back after 4 hours per day of clinical/hospital/OR time
• Rates are Negotiable
