We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to provide locum services in a Cardiothoracic Surgery setting in Greenville, SC.
This is an excellent opportunity for a PA with strong surgical experience looking for full-time coverage starting March 2, 2026.

🏥 Job Details:

Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery
Setting: Acute Care Hospital – OR and inpatient coverage
Schedule:

Full-time, Monday–Friday
6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
Call required (primarily ER call; weekdays minimal, weekends heavier)


Contract Length: 26 weeks (potential to extend)
Start Date: March 2, 2026
Responsibilities:

First assist on all open-heart cases
Vein harvesting and suturing
Pre- and post-op surgical care
Manage admissions, ICU patients, and surgical rounds
Collaborate with a team of 4 surgeons and 7 mid-levels




✅ Requirements:

Active South Carolina PA license (required; willing to license)
DEA (required)
Certifications: ACLS
Minimum 2 years cardiothoracic surgery experience
Must be proficient in vein harvesting and first assist techniques
Epic EMR experience preferred


📋 Credentialing:

Estimated timeframe: ~30–60 days
Completion of facility-specific forms and verifications required
Interview with department leadership
