Locum Physician Assistant (PA) - Family Practice - Mobile Clinic - Spanish Speaking - CA license

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician Assistant to provide locum services in a mobile clinic setting in San Jose, CA.
This is an excellent opportunity for an PA looking for flexible coverage starting January 5, 2026.

🏥 Job Details:

Specialty: Family Practice – Mobile Clinic (Spanish Speaking Required)
Setting: Outpatient clinic and mobile clinic (may include school-based sites)
Schedule:

Flexible shifts: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
1–2 days per week at mobile clinic; additional days at brick-and-mortar clinics as needed
Open to part-time providers
No call required


Contract Length: 13–26 weeks
Start Date: Credentialing ~30 days or less
Patient Volume: ~18 patients per day (21+ preferred)
Patient Population: All ages – must be comfortable with pediatrics and adults
Charting Software: Epic
Orientation: Full week (Monday–Friday) required prior to start


✅ Requirements:

Must be fluent in Spanish
Active California PA license (required)
DEA required
BLS certification required
Board certification preferred (will accept BE)
Minimum 2+ years of experience in Family Practice
Must be willing to work in mobile clinic settings
No work gaps over 1 year; gaps of 3–12 months require explanation
No felonies, unresolved federal debt, or malpractice within the last 5 years


📋 Credentialing:

Estimated timeframe: ~30 days
Completion of facility-specific provider questionnaire required
Orientation attendance mandatory
Additional forms and verifications as requested
