Locum Neonatology Nurse Practitioner - Days - OH license

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide locum services in a Level IV NICU setting in Columbus, OH.
This is an excellent opportunity for an NNP with advanced NICU experience looking for full-time day coverage starting early February 2026.

🏥 Job Details:
Specialty: Neonatology – Level IV NICU
Setting: Acute Care Children’s Hospital
Schedule:

Full-time, 3x12-hour day shifts per week
Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Occasional night shifts may be available
No call required

Contract Length: 6 months
Start Date: Early February 2026

Responsibilities:

Provide care for neonates in a Level IV NICU
Manage infants with a wide range of gestational ages and diagnoses
Perform advanced NICU procedures: intubations, chest tube insertion, arterial line placement
Document care in Epic EMR


✅ Requirements:

Active NP license (state or IMLC eligible)
Board Certification as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Certifications: NRP (required), ACLS, BLS, PALS
Minimum 2 years recent Level IV NICU experience
Epic EMR experience required


📋 Credentialing:

Estimated timeframe: ~6 weeks from offer
Includes department interview and completion of facility-specific forms
