Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (Locum Tenens) — Tennessee

Job description

Setting: Hospital-based NICU

Patient population: Newborns

Average census: 40–50 currently, expected to increase with new wing

Shifts: 12-hour or 24-hour options

Commitment: 4–6 shifts per month

Clinical Responsibilities

Intubations

Thoracentesis

Chest tube placement

Vent management

Arterial lines

Full NICU clinical management

Support & Systems

Nursing staff on-site

EMR: Epic

Requirements

NNP Board Certification

Minimum 3 years of Level III NICU experience

Active Tennessee license or compact license

NRP and PALS

DEA

Vaccines required

Credentialing

Estimated timeframe: ~60 days
