Opportunity Overview
A community-owned hospital in Jerseyville, Illinois is seeking a locum Anesthesiologist to support their anesthesia department due to recent turnover and ongoing recruitment efforts. This is an independent practice setting with no required call and a predictable weekday schedule.

Assignment Details
Location: Jerseyville, IL
Approximately 45 minutes north of St. Louis, MO
Facility: Community Hospital
Start: ASAP
End: Through March (with potential to extend)
Commitment: Minimum 3 months (may extend to 6 months or longer)
Providers Needed: 1 Anesthesiologist (MD/DO)

Schedule
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 6:30a – 5:00p
Tuesday & Friday: 6:30a – 2:30p
Last cases may be scheduled at 5:00p or 2:30p on respective days
Weekends: Optional
Call: Not required

Practice Environment
Independent MD practice
CRNAs typically practice independently but may require limited supervision
Current staffing: 2.5 FTE CRNAs
No other anesthesiologists currently on staff
Case Volume
Traditional OR: 4–8 cases/day
GI & Cataracts: 10–13 shorter cases/day

Board Eligible accepted
New Grads accepted
Active Illinois license required

Credentialing
Estimated 45–60 days
Temporary privileges available
Client will attempt to expedite onboarding (potentially under 30 days)
