Job description

Schedule & Call

Monday–Friday: 8:00am–5:00pm

On-call days: 10:00am–7:00pm

Weekends: 7:00am–7:00pm work shifts

Overnight backup call: 1:6 rotation, one week at a time

Practice Details

Diagnostic/Interventional mix: 90% Diagnostic / 10% IR

EMR/PACS: EPIC / Sectra

Support: 2 PACS admins, hospitalist, night techs

Group: 6 physicians / 1 APP

Department progressing toward Level III status

Clinical Expectations

Batch reads, ER reads, catch-up reads

Mammography certification required

Light IR & procedures:

Thoracentesis, paracentesis

Arthrograms

Routine CT

US-guided biopsies

Lumbar puncture

Interventional breast procedures

Requirements

Board Certified Diagnostic Radiology

Active NC license (no licensing assistance)

Credentialing: ~60 days
