Call Coverage: Full-time call required
Credentialing: Temporary privileges available

Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a Board Eligible Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeon for a long-term locums-to-permanent opportunity in Indiana. This inpatient-focused role offers a broad case mix, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.

Department: Inpatient CVT Surgery

Patient Volume: ~10 patients per day

Required Skills & Procedures

Candidates should be comfortable with a full scope of CVT surgery, including but not limited to:

Endovascular procedures

Coronary artery bypass (CABG)

Valvular repair

Congenital defect repair

Aneurysm repair

TAVR

VATS

Chest wall & esophageal surgery

Pacemaker & AICD placement

Left ventricular procedures

Vent management & bronchoscopy

Hemodynamic management (acute volume/BP)

Central lines, arterial lines, PA catheters

IABP & vascular procedures

Requirements

Board Status: Board Eligible or Certified

License: Active Indiana license required

DEA: Required

Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS
