Cardiothoracic Surgery PA Needed in CA:
Start Date: 3/16/2026
Contract Length: 6 months with option for extension
Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts per week; minimum of 2 weekend shifts per month and 5–6 night shifts per month.
Work details:
- Manage patients who have undergone a full spectrum of cardiac and thoracic procedures, including heart transplantation and those requiring mechanical circulatory support such as VA ECMO, Impella, and IABP.
- The provider will be the first responder to CTS patient pages, conduct daily rounds with CTS Fellows and Attendings, the Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant team, and ICU staff.
- A high degree of autonomy is required, with the ability to rapidly recognize and respond to changes in patient condition and manage critically ill patients effectively.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, surgeons, fellows, other APPs, and interdisciplinary staff to deliver efficient, evidence-based care.

CA License Required (We can help license you)
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
