Locums Diagnostic Radiologist

Job description

We are working with sister facilities in Illinois seeking Diagnostic Radiologists, including candidates with Light Interventional Radiology (IR) experience. This opportunity offers a predictable weekday schedule with no call, no weekends, and no overtime. Locums-to-perm candidates are welcome.

Assignment Details

Specialty:

Diagnostic Radiology OR

Diagnostic Radiology with Light IR

Start Date: March or sooner (dependent on credentialing and provider availability)

Contract Length: Variable – please specify preferred contract duration

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (will consider 1-4 weeks a month)

Call: None

Weekends: None

Clinical Responsibilities

Modalities (all candidates):

X-ray

CT (all)

MRI (all)

Ultrasound

Mammography

Nuclear Medicine (rare)

Additional for Light IR role:

Light IR procedures

Volume: 60–80 reads per day

Higher percentage of X-ray and CT

Technology

Dictation: PowerScribe

PACS: Merge

EMR: Meditech


Requirements

Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible

Licensure: Illinois license required
