Locums Interventional Radiologist

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist for locums coverage in Boise, Idaho. This role includes weekday procedural coverage with evening and weekend call. The practice offers a strong case mix with trauma exposure and advanced IR procedures.

Schedule & Call

Weekday Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Evening Call:

5:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Expected call backs: 0–1 per evening


Weekend Call:

24-hour call (Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM)

Weekend call backs: 3–4 total interventions

Procedure Time:

Each intervention averages 1–3 hours


Required Procedures

Candidates must be comfortable independently performing the following:

Trauma Embolization (Body)

Pulmonary Thrombectomy

Gastric Tube Placement

Biliary / Chole Tube Placement

Nephrostomy & Ureteral Stenting

Dialysis Graft/Fistula Stenting

Body Arteriography

IVC Filter Placement & Removal
