Cardiovascular Surgery Opportunity – MN
Job description
Start: ASAP (Emergency temps available for clean records – complete file required)
Facility: Level II Trauma Center
License: MN license or IMLC required
Schedule:
• Monday–Friday, 7a–5p
• 1:3 call week rotation
• Call weeks include day shift, overnight (5p–7a), and 24-hour weekend call
Priority Coverage Dates:
• March 16–22
• March 30–April 5
• April 20–26
• May 4–10
(Additional dates available beyond these weeks)
Work Details:
• Predominantly routine cases
• Annual volumes: ~250 CABGs/Valves
• Standbys: ~200 TAVR, ~100 Clips, ~35 Lead Extractions
• No Electrophysiology cases
• Oncology lung cases handled at another facility
Procedures Include:
• CABG & valve repair/replacement
• Aortic aneurysms & dissections
• Carotid endarterectomy
• TAVR / Structural Heart
• LVAD & heart failure surgery
• Minimally invasive & robotic cardiac surgery
• Thoracic & esophageal surgery (minimally invasive)
• Pacemakers & thoracoscopic surgery
Ideal Candidate:
• Strong experience in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery
• Comfortable with call coverage and high-acuity cases
