Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Urgent Care NP/PA for a high-volume outpatient urgent care assignment in North Texas. This is a fast-paced setting requiring strong clinical autonomy and broad age-range experience.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: April 2026
• End Date: Ongoing
• Schedule:
– Monday–Saturday: 8:00a–8:00p
– Sunday: 12:00p–8:00p

Work Details
• Daily Patient Volume: 30–60 patients per shift
• Patient Population: All ages (“womb to tomb”); must be comfortable treating children 3 months and older
• EMR/Charting: Practice Velocity
• Skills Required: Typical UC procedures, Laceration repair and incision & drainage, X-ray and EKG interpretation, DOT certification a plus

Practice Setting
• Outpatient Urgent Care

Requirements
• Board Certification: Required (Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med-Peds)
• State License: Active Texas license required
• Experience: 3–6 years of urgent care or emergency medicine experience, Workers’ Compensation experience preferred
• Candidate Location: Must be locally based
