Onsite Breast Imager – Central & Northern Michigan
Job description
Position Overview:
A 100% physician-owned radiology group is seeking an onsite breast imager to provide high-quality imaging and procedural care across two University-affiliated community hospitals in Michigan. Coverage is flexible—part-time or full-time—starting as soon as credentialed (targeting August). Ideal candidates can split coverage between both sites (approximately 3 hours apart) with a consistent schedule.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Competitive locum pay, depending on experience

• Support from a team of 215 radiologists and 44 advanced practice providers across 60+ statewide sites
Facility details:
• 415 bed, non-profit teaching hospital that serves a 9-county region in southwest Michigan and northern Indiana
Work Environment & Schedule:
• M–F, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Flexible part-time schedules considered (consistent coverage required)
• High-volume breast imaging practice with digital mammography, tomosynthesis, breast MRI, and ultrasound
• Procedural responsibilities include stereotactic, US-guided, and MRI-guided biopsies
• Collaborate with breast surgeons and oncologists in tumor boards and patient care
Requirements:
• ABR or AOBR certified
• Breast imaging fellowship or equivalent experience
• Proficient in all aspects of breast imaging and breast procedures
• Michigan license or IMLC accepted; DEA required
• Strong references and clean malpractice history
