Job description

We are urgently seeking a CV Anesthesiologist for long-term locums coverage in Reston, Virginia, with priority need for full coverage in March 2026. Additional coverage needed in April and May.

Position Overview
- Location: Reston, VA
- Specialty: Cardiovascular Anesthesiology
- Start Date: March 1, 2026 (ASAP credentialing)
- Contract Length: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Scheduled + On Call
- Potential additional needs: 2 weeks in April and 2 weeks in May

Schedule & Call
- Monday–Friday:
- Clinic: 6:00am–2:00pm
- 16-hour beeper call

Weekends:
- 24-hour offsite call
- Shift Structure: 24-hour coverage (6a–6a)

Clinical Details:
- Practice Setting: Inpatient
- Patients per Shift: ~3
- Case Focus: Cardiovascular anesthesia

Requirements:
- Board Certification: Required
- Licensure: Virginia license required
- Certification: TEE certification required

Credentialing:
- Timeframe: ASAP (urgent need)
