Position Overview
A hospital in Missouri is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to provide weekend call coverage. The provider will manage emergent and urgent IR cases, including trauma embolizations, GI bleeds, and TIPS procedures, while working with a fully supported on-call team.

Work Environment & Schedule
• Schedule: Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
• Coverage frequency: 1 weekend every 3 weeks
• Patient volume: typically 1–4 procedures per weekend
• Support staff: 2 IR techs and 1 RN on call with the physician
• Department:
– Siemens single-plane angiography suite
– Ultrasound procedure room
– Fluoroscopy procedure room
• EMR: Cerner
• Patient population: Adults (18+)

• Other emergent non-neuro IR procedures

Requirements
• Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
• Active Missouri license required (IMLC accepted)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• DEA required
• Vaccine compliance required
• Ability to perform a broad range of emergent IR procedures independently

Credentialing
• Approximately 60 days
• Clean file required for timely privileges
- Low-volume weekend call — typically 1–4 procedures per weekend with full tech + RN support
- Broad IR case mix — trauma embolization, GI bleeds, TIPS, and other non-neuro emergent IR procedures
- redictable schedule — Friday 5p to Monday 7a, about 1 weekend out of every 3
