Cardiothoracic Surgery Opportunity – MN
Start: ASAP (Emergency temporary privileges available for clean files — complete submission required)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00a–5:00p
Call: 1 in 3 call week rotation
• Call weeks include day shift, overnight (5:00p–7:00a), and weekend 24-hour call

Priority Coverage Dates:
• March 16–22
• March 30–April 5
• April 20–26
• May 4–10

Work Details:
• Predominantly routine cardiothoracic cases (CABGs, valves, etc.)
• Annual volumes include:
– CABGs / Valves: ~250
– TAVR: ~200
– Clips: ~100
– Lead extractions: ~35
• Case types include aortic aneurysms and dissections, atrial fibrillation surgery, cardiac valve repair and replacement, carotid endarterectomy, congenital heart surgery, coronary artery bypass surgery, minimally invasive esophageal surgery, heart failure surgery, LVAD, minimally invasive and robotic heart surgery, pacemaker placement, thoracoscopic surgery, and TAVR / structural heart cases
• No electrophysiology cases
• Oncology lung cases are handled at another facility

Ideal Candidate:
• Proficient in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery (flexibility considered)

Licensing:
MN license or IMLC required — happy to help with the process.
