𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞:
Locum Nurse Practitioner – 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐲

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
Opportunity for a Locum Nurse Practitioner specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery providing inpatient surgical support within a high-volume cardiovascular and thoracic program. The role involves assisting with complex surgical cases, perioperative patient management, and participation in call coverage.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient evaluation and management.
- Serve as OR first assist for cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
- Participate in coronary artery bypass, valve surgeries, aortic reconstruction, thoracic procedures, and robotic-assisted surgeries.
- Perform procedures such as chest tube insertions and arterial line placement.
- Manage ICU and step-down unit patients.
- Conduct daily rounds, discharge summaries, and urgent clinic visits as needed.
- Participate in night, weekend, and call rotations.
- Support inpatient and outpatient cardiothoracic care workflows.

𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞:
- Mostly Monday–Friday (approx. 0700–1500; variable depending on cases)
- Call coverage required (night and weekend rotation)
- Full-time coverage expected (1.0 FTE)
