𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭: 24-hour Call (16:00 – 16:00), weekend call required

𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬:
𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Cardiac and thoracic surgical patients (ICU and step-down)
𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: Operating Room (OR) / Acute Care Hospital
𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: Cardiothoracic surgical support including first and second assist, manage ICU and step-down patients, rounding on weekends and holidays, 24-hour call (not in-house)

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬:
- Thoracic surgery (robotic, VATS, open thoracotomy)
- Cardiac surgery (CABG, AVR, MVR, ascending aneurysms, dissections)
- Endoscopic saphenous vein harvesting (Hemopro)
- Radial harvesting (open or endoradial preferred)
- Temporary pacing wire removal, IABP manipulation/removal, chest tube sclerosis
𝐄𝐌𝐑 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦: Epic (Preferred)
𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟: 2 cardiac surgeons, 1 thoracic surgeon, 5 PAs
𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐏𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡: Variable; weekday coverage plus weekday and weekend call preferred
𝐎𝐧-𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥/𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬: Yes – 24-hour call with weekend rounding
