𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬:
𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Adult cardiac and thoracic surgery patients
𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: Operating Room (Acute Care Hospital)
𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: First and second assist in cardiac and thoracic surgery; robotic thoracic surgery support; manage ICU and step-down patients; rounding on weekends and holidays; participate in on-call coverage
- Required Procedures: Thoracic (robotic, VATS, open thoracotomy); cardiac procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, ascending aneurysms, dissections; endoscopic saphenous vein harvesting; radial harvesting; temporary pacing wire removal; IABP manipulation/removal; chest tube sclerosis
- EMR System: Epic
- Support Staff: 2 cardiac surgeons, 1 thoracic surgeon, 5 PAs
- Days Per Month: Not specified
- On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour call (not in-house); weekday and weekend call required

• Cardiothoracic Surgery APP role with first-assist surgical responsibilities
• Mix of OR, ICU, step-down management with robotic & open thoracic procedures
• 24-hour call coverage with weekday + weekend rounding
