Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery NP/PA for a full-time assignment at a hospital in Southern California, starting ASAP.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, full time
• Shift Hours: 6:00a–6:00p (OR and rounding)
• Call: 6:00p–6:00a
• March Coverage Needs: March 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, and 23

Work Details
• Patient Population: Adults
• Department: Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery
• Responsibilities: Rounding, patient management, and surgical support
• OR Support: Part-time OR support with additional clinical coverage during the week
• Procedures: CABG, transplants, VADs, and thoracic cases
• Skills Required: Chest tube removal, pacing wire removal, chest X-ray interpretation, and vein harvesting
• EMR: Epic

Practice Setting
• Hospital

Requirements
• Board Certification: Required
• License: Active California license required
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
• Experience: 1–2 years of cardiothoracic experience required
