Nurse Practioner/Physician Assistant

Job description

The PA/FNP will be responsible for managing and coordinating patient care within our clinic, as well as referring and collaborating with external medical services when needed. This role involves independent decision-making in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment initiation, following established protocols. The PA/FNP will also provide valuable education and support to patients, their families, and the healthcare community.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently assess, diagnose, and initiate treatment protocols for patients
Collaborate with physicians and maintain a collaborative practice agreement
Provide educational support for patients, families, and healthcare team members
Coordinate with internal and external healthcare services as needed
Keep accurate records and ensure patient information confidentiality
Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate, under Michigan state guidelines
