Cardiothoracic APP Needed in Long Beach, CA
Job description
Start: as soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 3-6 months, ongoing
Shift Details: Night shift 6p-6:30a, no call. no OR coverage
Schedule: At least 2 shifts needed per week
Work Details:
· Support Staff: CTS surgery team. They will be the solo NP on site during the night shift
· Patients per day: 15-25. Varies on day.
· Patient Population/Age: Adults, no Peds
· Department Description: NP will perform these standardized procedures in these areas: Critical Care Dept, ER, Telemetry Units, Med-surg units and outpatient clinic. Must be able to perform all simple procedures as well as some advanced procedures such as removal of wound pump, removal of pacing wire, etc.
· EMR: EPIC
· Special Procedures:
· Skills Required: Prefers at least 1-2 years in surgical experience and background with cardiothoracic surgery or other cardiac experience/surgical background.
Travel Logistics:
· Specific travel client will pay for: **All inclusive rate**
Requirements:
· Board Certification: Required
· License Required: CA license required
· DEA: Required
· Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
· Minimum Experience Required: 1-2 years
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days. Expedited will be considered on an as needed basis.
