Cardiothoracic Surgery PA needed in Santa Monica, CA

PA – Cardiothoracic Surgery | California
Start: May 1, 2026 (pending privileges)
End: October 1, 2026
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7a–3p
Minimum Availability: 3–4 days per week

Call Details:
• 1:2 call rotation (split with one other PA)
• Weekday call: 3p–7a
• Weekend call: Friday 3p–Monday 7a (during rotation)
• Callback frequency: ~1–2 times per month

Practice Details:
• Clinic located inside hospital
• OR assist, rounding, and clinic duties all in one setting
• 5–8 patients per shift
• EMR: Epic
• Strong support staff

Required Skills:
• Radical and endoscopic vein harvesting
• OR first assist
• ICU and step-down patient management
• ECMO, IABP, and Impella management
• Interpretation of EKGs, X-rays, and labs

Requirements:
• Board Certified PA
• Active California license required
• DEA required
• ACLS & BLS required
• Highly prefer 3–5 years of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience

Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced CT Surgery PA seeking full-time coverage with a balanced OR, ICU, and call schedule.
