Locums – APP – Nurse Practitioner – Cardiology - Maryland

Job description

Contract Length: 4–6 months
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours (No Call)

Schedule

4 shifts per week, including weekends and holidays

Standard shifts: 10-hour days (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Weekend shifts typically 6–8 hours depending on census

Additional schedule details pending from client

Practice Setting

Hospital-based cardiovascular department

Hospital bed size: 180

Adult patient population

Responsibilities

Care for patients post-procedure

Conduct consult workups prior to procedures

Perform follow-up phone calls with patients

Manage cardiovascular inpatient cases

Patient Volume

2–10 patients per day

Systems

EMR: Cerner

Cardiology imaging: Change Healthcare PACS

Requirements

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner

Active Maryland license required

DEA required

CSR required

Certifications: BLS and ACLS required

Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience

Credentialing

Estimated timeframe: 60–90 days
