POSITION OVERVIEW
Seeking an experienced Travel Perfusionist for a high-acuity cardiac program in South Carolina.

This role is ideal for a highly skilled clinician with advanced perfusion expertise who thrives in fast-paced, emergent cardiac environments across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations.

Strong ECMO experience required, including independent cannulation and transport support. Ideal for a confident provider capable of managing complex cardiopulmonary bypass and mechanical circulatory support systems.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
1 opening | 13 weeks
Start Date: April 13, 2026
Schedule: 5x8 day shifts (hours may vary)
On call required

COMPENSATION
Housing: $770/week
Meals and Incidentals: $476/week
Overtime: $172.50/hr (after 40 hours)
On Call: $5/hr | Charge: $3/hr | Holiday: 1.35x

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate cardiopulmonary bypass during cardiac procedures
Perform ECMO cannulation across adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
Support ECMO transport
Manage advanced perfusion techniques including cardioplegia and hypothermic circulatory arrest
Monitor perfusion parameters including flow, anticoagulation, and patient stability
Support procedures including CABG, valve replacement, and TAVR
Respond to emergent cardiac and trauma cases
Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams in high-acuity settings

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years of perfusion experience
Travel experience required | No first-time travelers
ABCP certification required
BLS and ACLS required
Epic experience required
Level 1 Trauma and teaching hospital experience required
