About the clinician's workday

The cardiothoracic surgeon will provide 24-hour call coverage managing all aspects of cardiothoracic surgery including complex surgical procedures, patient rounding, emergency consultations, and ICU management. The clinician will handle an average of 5 ICU patients per day while maintaining continuous availability for emergency cases requiring immediate surgical intervention. Board certification in cardiothoracic surgery and prescriptive authority are mandatory requirements for this position.
