Locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon needed in Pennsylvania

Top Highlights:

Consistent 3 weekends per month with 24-hour call coverage

Manage urgent cardiac surgery cases with APP support and surgeon backup

Quick start available with temporary privileges for clean files

Opportunity Details:

Start Date: May 10, 2026

Contract Length: Ongoing

Schedule: Friday 12pm – Monday 7am (24-hour call)

Coverage: 3 weekends per month

Average Callback: 2–4 hours per day (including rounding)

Patient Population: Adult (18+)

Setting: Hospital (163 beds)

EMR: Epic

Clinical Scope:

Urgent cardiac surgery cases from cath lab to OR

Post-op management (ICU to discharge)

No TAVR procedures required

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Surgery

Active Pennsylvania license

DEA required

Minimum 1 year of experience
