Cardiothoracic Surgeon needed in PA - willing to license

Job description

-Shift Details: 3 weekends per month
-Schedule: Friday 12pm-Monday 7am, 24 hour call
-Work Details:
· Support Staff: APP
· Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: 3 weekends per month
· Average callback per day including rounding: 2-4 hours
· Patient Population/Age: 18+
· EMR: EPIC
· Hospital Bed size: 163 beds
· Special Procedures: no TAVRs
· Department Description: urgent surgery, from cath lab to surgery, if stable they will wait until Monday, patients go from ICU to home. Surgeon is there for backup after consult
• Practice Setting: Hospital
-Requirements:
· Board Certification: must be BC or BE in Cardiac Surgery
· License Required: PA, willing to license
· DEA: required
· Minimum Experience Required: 1 year
-Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days, temps avail with clean file

• Ongoing need
• Medical malpractice insurance provided
• Willing to license
