Cardiothoracic Surgery Locum Opportunity | Ongoing Weekend Call Coverage

🗓️ Schedule
3 weekends per month
Friday 12:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
24-hour call coverage

⚕️ Clinical Details
Adult patient population (18+)
Coverage focused on urgent/emergent cardiac surgery cases
Cases primarily come from the cath lab to surgery
Stable patients may be deferred until weekday coverage
Patients typically managed from ICU through discharge

👥 Support:

APP support in place
On-call surgeon available for backup after consult

📞 Call Volume:

Average 2–4 hours/day including rounding

🔧 Procedures
No TAVR required

✅ Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Surgery (required)
Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC
DEA required
Minimum 1 year experience

• Ongoing
• PA license or IMLC
