Assignment Details
• Start Date: May 2026
• Schedule: Combination of clinic, procedures, and call coverage
• Shift Structure:
– Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
– Night Call: 3:30 PM – 7:00 AM
– 24-Hour Call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM

Work Details
• Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Clinical Duties: Rounding, clinic, surgical procedures, and call coverage
• Typical Day: Hospital rounds starting at 7:00 AM, clinic from ~9:00 AM – 2:30 PM, followed by afternoon rounds
• Procedures: Includes TAVRs (scheduled Tuesdays)
• Surgeries: Approximately 9 per week
• Clinic: 1 day per week, including dual clinic with structural heart team on Fridays
• EMR: Epic
• Support Staff: APP support onsite
• Facility Size: 596-bed hospital

Requirements
• Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• License: Active Pennsylvania license required
• DEA: Required
• Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of cardiothoracic surgery experience

• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days
• Temporary privileges available for candidates with a clean file
