Neuro ICU NP/PA Opportunity in Metairie, LA
Start Date: July 2026
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
Schedule: 12 hour shifts nights
• Level I trauma academic center (16-bed unit, EPIC)
Role:
• Full ICU management with neurointensivist support
• Admissions, rounds, consults, discharges
• Vent management, sedation, critical care procedures
• Stroke/neuro care (ICH, SAH, TBI, seizures, etc.)
Preferred Skills:
• CVC, A-line, LP
• Neuro pathways + post-op neurosurgery care
• CT/CXR/ECG interpretation
Requirements:
• BC (AGNP or ACNP)
• LA license + DEA + CSR
• ENLS, BLS, ACLS
• 2–3+ years experience

LA License Required (We can help license you)
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
