About the clinician's workday

The hematologist/oncologist will provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care managing approximately 14 patients daily with 2-4 new consultations in a 60/40 hematology to oncology patient mix. The clinician will work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with minimal phone-only call coverage one week per month, conducting thorough patient evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans for both hematologic and oncologic conditions. Board certification in Hematology/Oncology and prescriptive authority are mandatory requirements, with documentation maintained through EPIC EMR system with Abridge AI for in-room note capture. The position involves working as a solo physician with support from a highly experienced nurse practitioner director and dedicated nursing and medical assistant staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
