Locums CT Surgery PA Needed in Santa Monica, CA

Job description

Schedule: They will work in clinic/hospital from 7am-3pm (Monday-Friday). Please note the clinic is inside the hospital so the PAs function as OR assist, rounding and clinic which can all be done in one day. Call will be 1:2 as we have one other PA so they split call 50/50. They will be on call during the weekdays as well starting at 3pm-7am the next day during their call rotation. Weekend call will be 3pm Friday to 7a Monday as well during their weekend. Called back about 1-2 times a month roughly. Guaranteed Hours: 8 per day - OT to apply after 8 hours per day

Support staff: 2 main physicians, MAs scheduling & rooming support
Providers Per Shift: 5-8
EMR: Epic
Skills required: Surgical Care, Suturing. Must be able to do Radical & endoscope vein harvesting, interpret EKGs, XR, labs, ECMO, IABP & Impella -OR assist -ICU/step-down patient management HIGHLY PREFER: - 3-5 years of experience

Requirements
Minimum Board Certification: Certified
License required: Active CA license and CA DEA are required
Minimum experience required: HIGHLY PREFER: - 3-5 years of experience
Credentialing Timeframe: Are temporary privileges available?: Yes
