NP/PA Hematology/Oncology – Locum Tenens – Seaside, OR

Job description

A leading health system's cancer center in the Seaside, Oregon area is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a Hematology/Oncology locum tenens opportunity.

This is an outpatient clinic position located in a newly renovated facility at the hospital campus. The schedule is 4 days per week (Monday–Thursday), 8 hours per day with guaranteed hours. A 10-hour shift option (Monday–Wednesday) may also be available. The assignment starts in June 2026 and is ongoing. No call or rounding required.

The provider will work alongside an oncologist, managing patients in the infusion suite, handling in-basket messages, responding to lab results, and triaging calls with the oncology nurse navigator. The support team includes infusion nurses, medical assistants, an oncology dietitian, a social worker, and schedulers. EPIC EMR is used.

Requirements:
- NP or PA with AONCP certification (required)
- Active Oregon license and OR DEA
- BLS certification required
- All orientation hours are billable
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days, temps available with clean file
