Occucare International is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner with knowledge and experience in occupational medicine who holds full independent practice authority in the State of Arkansas.
The successful candidate will work on a client’s industrial construction project as a solo medical care provider. All care will be provided in collaboration with a team of full-time Medical Directors located in our corporate offices in Houston, Texas. The candidate must be able to maintain a collaborative relationship with Occucare International Medical Directors, the management team, and the client’s staff.

JOB DETAILS:
· Monday through Friday – 40-hour workweek with potential for overtime
· Office/clinic will be located in a modular building alongside the client’s safety management team at the industrial job site.
· Patient population includes adult employees of the client and their subcontractors
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
· Must hold a current license in the State of Arkansas
· Full independent practice authority as per the State of Arkansas is required
· Must have BLS/ CPR certification (AHA/AHSI) or be able to obtain it prior to the start of the assignment
· Must have a firm but fair approach to conservative care plans and return-to-work practices.
· Must be willing to work independently and be a problem solver
· Must be eager to learn Occucare’s core policies and procedures and adapt to the clinical guidance of the Medical Directors
· Must have exceptional communication skills
JOB PREFERENCES:
· Experience in occupational medicine, sports medicine, emergency medicine, and/or urgent care
· ACLS – preferred
· Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) preferred; ability to communicate using translation apps is acceptable
REQUIRED:
· Computer savvy and EMR proficient
· BLS
· Full independent practice authority as per the State of Arkansas
EMPLOYMENT ARRANGEMENT:
1099- INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR STATUS
- ASAP start date - EXPECTED: Min Length 2 weeks, Max length 4 weeks
- Locum to Perm options available.
