About the clinician's workday

The nurse practitioner will provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care in a clinic-only setting with responsibilities including conducting patient evaluations during 30-minute follow-up slots and developing individualized treatment plans for hematologic and oncologic conditions. The position involves managing 8 patients per half-day across 9 clinical half-days per week with 1 additional half-day designated for patient care coordination and administrative activities from Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The clinician will work exclusively in outpatient settings with no nights or weekend coverage requirements, maintaining accurate documentation through EPIC EMR system for all patient encounters and treatment planning. Board certification in Hematology/Oncology and prescriptive authority are mandatory requirements for this ongoing assignment with flexible scheduling options available.
